@Hubzilla Support Forum Can't access the image. You need to make it public, or at least accessible by the people you want should see it.

@Harald Eilertsen Fixed. And that, by the way, is completely counterintuitive behavior. If a post is made to a “forum,” then access to all attached files should be “public” (at least by default).

@Fedir Ustynov I've submitted a proposed fix for this issue:
https://framagit.org/hubzilla/core/-/merge_requests/2225

Will have to rebase once the CI in the dev branch is unbroken. Also would be good to get some review on this, as I have not extensively tested that url parsing in general isn't broken yet.
